Band and Publisher offers professional publishing assistance and marketing support services, which may include but are not limited to:

• Ghostwriting
• Editing
• Manuscript formatting
• Book cover design
• Publishing consultation
• Advertising campaign management
• Public relations outreach

We operate strictly as an independent service provider delivering support services related to publishing and marketing.

Band and Publisher is NOT:

• A traditional book publishing company
• A literary representation or talent agency
• A book retailer or online marketplace
• An official partner, affiliate, or representative of any publishing platform

Any references to third-party platforms are included only for identification and descriptive purposes.

2. No Earnings or Performance Guarantees

Band and Publisher does not guarantee:

• Book sales or distribution performance
• Revenue generation
• Rankings
• Visibility or placement on publishing platforms
• Advertising return on investment (ROI)
• Media coverage or publicity placements
• Any level of financial success

Publishing and marketing outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Market demand and reader preferences
• Competition within a particular genre
• Platform algorithms
• Advertising budget levels
• Audience engagement and behavior

4. Client Responsibilities

6. Payments

• Payments may be required in advance or arranged through milestone-based installments
• Advertising budgets are separate from service fees unless otherwise specified
• Failure to complete scheduled payments may result in suspension or termination of services

7. Cancellations

Projects may be canceled through written notice before production begins. If cancellation occurs after work has started, fees may be adjusted proportionally based on the portion of work already completed.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law:

• Band and Publisher shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service involved in the dispute

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms will first be addressed through good-faith discussions between the parties before pursuing legal action. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana.

10. Independent Relationship

Nothing within these Terms should be interpreted as creating a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, or agency relationship between Band and Publisher and any publishing platform.
